Tired of your book club, stock club or bridge club?  Then try out a "golf club."

Golf-Her’s Time Management by Barbara Hanson

I believe that a key to making your golf plan work is the “buddy system.”  Either buddy up with a friend(s) who wants to play golf each week or join a league so that you’re committed to a group of people.   When my children were little, I played very little golf.  However, on Thursday afternoon, I had a babysitter lined up and I had a foursome with whom I played nine holes each week.  We took turns picking the course, making the tee time and choosing the event for the day.   I can’t tell you how I looked forward to Thursday afternoon!

Barbara Hanson is the executive director of the Minnesota Women's Golf Association and organizes extensive programs for women golfers.  See http://www.corporategolfservices.com.  She publishes a monthly on-line newsletter with excellent resources for women golfers.  Anyone can be on her mailing list.
